The Wild Tales From Winnard World!

Christmas came and went, as well as Dom's big 7th B-day!  He is literally growing out of house and home.  He went from size 13 shoes to size 2 in one month!!!  I can only imagine what it will be like to have 2 teenage boys one day.  Dom is excelling at school and continues to test well above grade level.  Socially, he is as 7 year old as they come! ...Did I mention how wild this boy can be?

Dylan is sooooo chill!  Of course, that is, until you make him angry.  He has a little nickname around the house called Cranky Ape!  Well suited... He continues to be kind and compassionate and loves his Ms. Kathy!  He has been working on workbooks and doing crafts each week.  He is such a little man!  We have decided to hold off one year in regards to Kindergarten.  We would rather him be the oldest rather than youngest in school.  Academically, he is totally ready and does great with compliance.  I just worry for him later with sports and such.

Shawn has been busy coaching both their soccer teams and is loving it!  Oh yeah, and he has that full time job thing too.....  Travel time is coming up and I am putting on my seat belt.  Mommy is in for a bumpy ride!!!  This time of year Shawn travels so much, I am literally a single Mom most of the time.  Fun times...Fun times...

We are busy remodeling our home and have completed our formal living and kitchen.  Our handy man gutted our master bath this weekend and will be working on that for the next month.  We also have been working on our master bedroom purchasing a new bed, dresser, bedding and such.  We hope to have the floors redone in the next couple of months.  I think we have decided on scraped hardwoods.  (Those look so great!)  Dominick is getting a new room this Summer and has already requested a hot tub in the middle of his room. (LOL!!!!)  So busy....YES WE ARE!

....But most important...HAPPY!

Thank you sweet Jesus for blessing us in so many ways!

Fall is here!!!

Baseball is in the air.  Can you smell it?  Nothing like a plate of nachos with fake cheese from the concession stand!

Dylan is doing great at t-ball this year.  He usually plays pitcher or first base.

Sliding home!

Dom and Dyl are both the Rangers...just in different leagues.

Dom is playing coach's pitch.  Man...baseball just got a lot harder!

Both boys are in baseball and soccer, so we have NO free time.
The boys squeeze this bike/scooter ride in before Dom's soccer game.

Did I mention that I LOVE fall?

Sophie is trying out our new iron fence in the back.  This keeps the doggies off the patio furniture!

Chloe is enjoying her pool.  She is the nicest 140lb. diva dog I have ever met.  When she is running your way at full speed, I highly suggest you step aside and let her continue on her way.

Relaxing!(Dom style)

Relaxing!(Maddix style)

What mischief can we get into today?

Striker is loving his new background for his cage.  He feels like he is still in South America.

Huddle up team!

Dom's biggest fan!

Home run bound!

Better late, than never...

We are off to an amazing start.  Yes, I know it has been forever.  Honestly, we are so busy, I don't know which way is up!  Here are some pics of Dom's first day of school.
Dom and Joshua are great buddies!

Mrs. Humphries rocks!

Bye...Mommy!

Dylan's 4th Birthday Bash

We had a wonderful time with family and friends at Dylan's super special birthday!
Happy 4th Big Boy!!!

This water slide was three stories high.  All the kids (and adults) had a BLAST!

The little ones even hitched rides!

Dylan pauses a moment to read with Gi Gi.

Jack surfed the slide!

Dylan loved his gifts!

He wanted to read every card...what a sweet boy!

All the Winnard boys helped set up the Hawaiian Beach Party!

They took a few breaks!

The sweetest little birthday boy I know.

We are ready to do this!

Whoo Hoo!

Go Emma!

The Tiki Man should be very afraid!

My sweet family.

Payton and Dylan take a cotton candy, popcorn, and snow cone break.

Baby Landon is such a happy little baby.

Aunt Robyn is waiting for her turn on the slide.

Andrew is ready to play!

...Happy Birthday to you!

Ginger and I are the official cake cutters.

Mighty Jack breaks the pinata.
