I know it has been a long time since I was able to update. I want to give you the ESPN highlights, because let's be honest....I have no time. Blessed as always, with the help of our heavenly Father we are making it!
BIG NEWS: We are moving....yes moving. Where? Not sure. We are looking at Colleyville and Southlake. This is a happy medium for all of us. Shawn has been making a journey for the past 12 years. Yes, 12 years! Funny thing is, we were on a 3-5 year plan with this house. Well, life happens and we stayed a bit longer. So yes, we are ready to move out of our sweet starter home into our "the rest of our life as parents" home. Exciting as this may be, boy is it tiring!!!
My parents are back in their home and settling in nicely. I am so blessed to have those amazing people in my life. We even had a great weekend where all of us met up at the ranch by coincidence. We had some great fun and fellowship.
Dylan's asthma has flared up due to allergies. This is a battle we always fight this time of year. Hopefully, his immune system is getting stronger... Loving Ms. Kathy's as always, Dylan tells us his amazing adventures each day. Suspiciously, he never gets a time out. This is always confirmed by Ms. Kathy. (We all know what happens at Ms. Kathy's stays at Ms. Kathy's!!!) He is looking forward to kindergarten, but cries often at the thought of leaving his friends.
Dominick, our natural born leader, is doing well in 2nd grade. He has not gotten his name on the board once this year. This truly is shocking. He MUST save it all up at school, then releases the rest at home! That child lives in time-out at the moment! ...but a heart of gold none the less.
Well, Shawn and I are doing well. We pray each day that sweet Jesus will lead our way. We have put our faith in him and continue to feel his blessings. At this moment we are humble and thankful, for truly we have everything we need!

Another year quickly fading...
I know I have not updated in oh so long, so I thought I would give it a whirl again. I am feeling so very blessed today having my family home and together. Shawn has been traveling quite a bit in the past 3 months. We have managed to stay sane...but barely. :)
Dominick has lost his front top teeth and bottom front teeth. He has a side one that is probably being extracted by his school nurse at this moment! Dominick loves to ride his bike (without training wheels!), skateboard, and play soccer. His team made it to the championship the past two seasons! He loves the Lord and was saved this past year! AMEN! His grades are amazing and if all goes well, he will receive a medal for his good behavior this ENTIRE year. Recognition? Oh yes, he must be center of attention and he eats it up!!! He has made amazing friends and a wonderful christian family at Bethesda. We are so blessed to watch him grow.
Dylan has started the cycle of losing all his baby fat and truly looks like a little boy instead of my baby! He is so smart and overly obedient for a four-year-old. He loves to ride his bike, scooter, and skateboard. He just began a new team in the five-year-old division and is doing great with soccer. He enjoys his time at Ms. Kathy's with all the friends he has grown to love since he was born. We have decided that he will stay with Ms. Kathy one more year before entering kindergarten in 2013. Boys and their August birthdays! Dylan loves Beyblades and cuddle time. Besides his ferocious temper, he is the most loving boy in the world! He thinks the world of his big brother.
...With all this said, we are ready for things to slow down and Summer to creep into our lives once again. We have Camp Coyote, Great Wolf Lodge, and The Fort Worth Zoo already planned. So welcome Summer and stay a while!

The Wild Tales From Winnard World!
Christmas came and went, as well as Dom's big 7th B-day! He is literally growing out of house and home. He went from size 13 shoes to size 2 in one month!!! I can only imagine what it will be like to have 2 teenage boys one day. Dom is excelling at school and continues to test well above grade level. Socially, he is as 7 year old as they come! ...Did I mention how wild this boy can be?
Dylan is sooooo chill! Of course, that is, until you make him angry. He has a little nickname around the house called Cranky Ape! Well suited... He continues to be kind and compassionate and loves his Ms. Kathy! He has been working on workbooks and doing crafts each week. He is such a little man! We have decided to hold off one year in regards to Kindergarten. We would rather him be the oldest rather than youngest in school. Academically, he is totally ready and does great with compliance. I just worry for him later with sports and such.
Shawn has been busy coaching both their soccer teams and is loving it! Oh yeah, and he has that full time job thing too..... Travel time is coming up and I am putting on my seat belt. Mommy is in for a bumpy ride!!! This time of year Shawn travels so much, I am literally a single Mom most of the time. Fun times...Fun times...
We are busy remodeling our home and have completed our formal living and kitchen. Our handy man gutted our master bath this weekend and will be working on that for the next month. We also have been working on our master bedroom purchasing a new bed, dresser, bedding and such. We hope to have the floors redone in the next couple of months. I think we have decided on scraped hardwoods. (Those look so great!) Dominick is getting a new room this Summer and has already requested a hot tub in the middle of his room. (LOL!!!!) So busy....YES WE ARE!
....But most important...HAPPY!
Thank you sweet Jesus for blessing us in so many ways!
