Five-Sixty

In case you are out of the 5 year old loop, Shark Boy and Lava Girl are just about it!!!  So...Dom has been begging us to take him out for suishi.  I was not sure the healthy benefits of suishi for such a young boy, so I decided we better go somewhere besides King Pao Family Buffet, where they have a suishi buffet! (Yuck!)  So we made a family date out of it!  We got all dressed up and headed to the Big D.  Wolf-Gang Puck has an incredible new hot spot on the top of Reunion Tower.  The view was amazing of course! The boys behaved wonderfully and were the hit of the restaurant! 
Story short...Dom did not like the suishi, but did enjoy the cooked suishi on a stick.  Yum:0

As a Mommy of two amazing boys, I constantly find myself in awww!  Also might I add, that I am always cleaning, picking up, and repairing!  So as the story goes......
I was upstairs attempting to clean up the always messy playroom, when I hear the boys talking to each other at the bottom of the stairs.  I hear Dominick clearly dominating the converstation so I am sure he is trying to manipulate his brother to release the toy he must want/need.  To my surprise a much sweeter conversation was blooming.  It went something like this...
Dom: Next year buddy, you are going to have to go to Ms. Kathy's by yourself.  Bubba has to go to big boy school."
Dylan:  No, I go to school with you.
Dom:  I know we are best friends and I love you.  Don't worry, I will still visit you at night.
Dylan:  Okay.
Dom:  Give me knuckles little buddy.  ...and don't forget if you start missing me just look up at the moon.

Then they hugged.  I love these precious moments.  It did leave me wondering if Dominick thought I just visited him at night, though!
