Sweet little Alexa died on Friday. She had been losing feeling in her back legs for a while. She was the last of the chapter of our lives, when life was a little easier. She was an amazing dog and taught me to be tough! She might have looked old and gray, but she was feisty to the bitter end. I know that Armani is glad to see her as the scurry off to the meadows of hope and peace. I take comfort in knowing they are now together awaiting the day that we all shall meet up again. Thanks Alexa for 14 love-filled years!

Come with me to this beautiful bend.
Let's romp and play and laugh out loud,
On earth you were my greatest pal.
You are young again in this sweet place,
The warmth of love and his sweet grace.
Remember always the family we love,
