Dylan's sweet little hand!
Mommy holding hands and poking the hanger!
Good times.....Good times.....
Dylan freaking out, but Mommy still acting like she knows what she is doing!
20 minutes has now past!
The photographer for these pictures is the amazing Dominick!
Little Dylan loves getting into mischief! So....yesterday Dominick runs in and says, "This is terrible! I don't have a baby brother anymore because he locked himself in the bathroom forever!!" I calmed Dominick down and then tried to talk through the door at the panicked victim. "MA MA MA MMA.....MAMAMAMAMAMA." This is all he would say.
I did my best "don't freak out" voice and told him to turn the button on the door. He fittled with it for a while then I heard the flushing of the toilet multiple times. He didn't seemed too very concerned.
After about 15 minutes of shoving a hanger into a hole, I decided I should probably call for back up. Relieved to hear that Dad was already on his way I began to relax a little. This is the very moment Dylan decided the bathroom was just not that much fun! He began to scream and cry. I continued to act like I knew what I was doing with the hanger when a little hand reached out of the bottom of the door. I held his little fingers and told him he would be okay. They were pouring with tears. (Or was is toilet water???)
Finally Shawn arrived and ended up taking off the door handle. Shawn and I both noted this morning that Dylan has not gone near any bathrooms since yesterday evening. Did the silly boy learn his lesson?????
On a different note, some of you know that Dylan has had issues with allergies. (exczema, eggs, etc.) He had to go to a lab today and get his blood drawn. Two very large viles might I add. The greatest lady took his blood! She was Aunt Jemima on speed and both the boys just loved her. She called Dominick, Dr. Dominick and let him help with the process. Dylan watched the needle go in his arm and sat really still while she drained half the blood in his body. She was so fun to watch sing and dance, I must admit I was entertained as well:) I love people who really know how to work with children. What a Godsend! I wish she were a photographer, pediadentist, babysitter, Sunday school teacher, etc......You get the picture!!! Anyway, I will keep you updated on the results:)
Have an awesome weekend and make sure you watch your children more carefully than I seem too:)
